Cytokinetics is a late-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on discovering, developing, and commercializing first-in-class muscle activators as potential treatments for people with debilitating diseases in which muscle performance is compromised and/or declining. Covive has worked with Cytokinetics since 2008 to design annual reports and other corporate communications.
Office Graphics
In 2015, the company launched a new brand (designed by others) and sought to bring the new brand messaging and visuals into office hallways and conference rooms for employee morale and guest experience. Covive designed over 40 different graphic installations including full-wall murals, circle-shaped posters, vinyl graphics, and window banners. The designs enhance the previously bare walls and help keep focus on the mission and values of the company.
‘Wall of Heroes’
In 2016, Cytokinetics commissioned a series of photographic portraits of patients living with the diseases of impaired muscle function to create a “Wall of Heroes” gallery in their corporate office. Covive worked with photographer Mary McHenry to capture the inspirational determination and courage of these men, women, and children, paired with quotes in their own words. The portraits were unveiled at an all-hands ceremony, with patients, family members and special guests in attendance.
Annual Reports and Holiday Cards
Since 2008, Covive has designed annual reports and holiday cards for Cytokinetics, presenting relevant themes and messages for shareholders and industry associates. The most recent 2017/2018 holiday card features a new series of photo portraits of Cytokinetics scientists with their families, in their every day lives, acknowledging their hard work, dedication, and character, in the office and at home.
